Description:

Pink Velvet tells the story of Jo, a young girl from Budapest, who needs somewhere to live during the winter. She finds a woman who rents out rooms in her country house and when the movie begins, Jo is waiting for the train which will take her there. Once inside the train, she's joined by another girl who sits down and starts to read a book. Jo is unsure about her sexual preference and when she falls asleep, she starts dreaming about the other girl. In her dream, the other girl approaches her while she's asleep. She puts her hand on her leg, which awakens Jo. They then kiss each other very lovingly until Jo suddenly wakes up, this time for real. With a little smile on her face, she looks out through the window and the journey continues.
